2011 Public Art Network’s Year In Review Award

Pittsburgh moved into the national spotlight this month with their selection by the Public Art Network’s Year In Review, the Oscar of the public art world.

7:11 am 11.20.1979 79º55’w 40º27’n, in Mellon Park, Cell Phone Disco‘s pulsating display on Tito and Exchange Ways in the Cultural District and Conflict Kitchen‘s political cuisine in East Liberty were named in the highly-competitive national survey. Curators chose 47 winners from a pool of 450 candidates.
